Ginger Rice Wine with Egg and Mee Sua
One of our most popular posts is our yellow rice wine chicken dish, you all love it because apart from it being nutritious with it packed with probiotics, it's also very family-friendly, and incredibly easy to make. In this recipe, I wanted something a little more ginger-filled, so I am using Ye Traditions Ginger Rice Wine
A quick recap for those of you who are new here - at Ye Traditions, we handcraft delicious rice wines from our grandmothers' recipe. If you want to learn more about the different rice wines, we have a really helpful article here. Ginger rice wine is naturally sweet (from fermentation), and is infused with ginger, making it an excellent antioxidant. In most of our dishes, I already love putting in ginger, so instead of just using yellow rice wine, I decided to use ginger rice wine for more kick!
This recipe is actually really easy to make, and I make it whenever I am in between meetings, and you can find many of the ingredients easily. You can read on for the recipe, or if you are a visual learner, here's a simple video to follow along on Instagram.

- 1 cup (250ml) of Ginger Rice Wine (or you can use other rice wines you like!)
- Ginger, sliced
- 4 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2-3 eggs (I used 4 here because I wanted more eggs)
- 500ml Water
Instructions
1. Stir fry the ginger in sesame oil

2. Add eggs in
3. When egg is half cooked, add in water
4. Then add in minced meat
5. Let it boil until it cooks thoroughly
6. Add mee sua (Note, mee sua cooks really quickly so 1 minute will do)

7. Finally add in the Ginger Rice Wine. We add this last because we prefer the strong taste of alcohol.

This ginger rice wine dish is such a nourishing and flavourful dish, and it really does make me feel healthy that I am eating this rather than some takeout filled with MSG. Definitely try this today!
