Rice vinegar, on the other hand, is made from fermented rice wine that has undergone a secondary fermentation process to produce acetic acid. This results in a sour and tangy flavor profile, making rice vinegar a popular choice for salad dressings, pickling, and marinades. Rice vinegar comes in different varieties, including white rice vinegar, black rice vinegar, and seasoned rice vinegar.
